Tomáš Janek obtained his bachelor´s and master´s degree at the Institute of Classical Archaeology at Charles University in Prague. His research areas are Roman provincial archaeology and computer application in the archaeology. In his master´s thesis he focused on Roman building terracotta in region between Vindobona and Brigetio and he continues in this research also on his PhD. project. The project is held under cooperation with Academy of sciences CR, Academy of sciences SR, Slovakian national museum, Museum of city Bratislava and Museums of city Vienna. The Project is funded by grant no. 277215 of the Charles University Grant Agency.
